First of all, why is understanding your mental activity important?

In his book “The Magic of Believing,” Claude Bristol declares that it is scientifically proven that thoughts are things; therefore, every thought has what he calls radiation or vibration. He says: “Whenever I think of thought and its radiations or vibrations, I instinctively link them up with electricity and its phenomena.”

I want you to visualise this idea for a moment. Every thought you have creates radiation or vibration like electricity. Therefore you become what you think about. Since you thought creates your reality, you need to be aware of what you think about.

One of my mentors, Bob Proctor, says that most people do not think properly, and they need to take the time to really think. I believe that what he means is to be aware of the vibration we are in or what we radiate through our mental activity. This could transform your life.

What is the one powerful way you can use now to understand your mental activity?

Your thoughts can make you well or unwell; wealthy or poor; limited in potential or unlimited in potential, fearful or confident etc.

Consequently, to understand what is going on inside, you need to observe your thoughts and master your ability to think properly. In other words, you need to think into results in a way that is constructive and creative.

Since every thought carries with it a vibration, you need to be increasingly aware of what you think about daily.

Therefore, the powerful way to understand your mental activity is to observe and be aware of the following: is your mental activity supportive and helps you improve the quality of your life or is your mental activity non-supportive which leads to in-harmony, worry, anxiety and disappointment?

Let me give you an example. When you have low self-esteem, it doesn’t seem easy to see your greatness and inner beauty. As a result, you seek approval from others. However, this is ineffective because you seek a solution outside of yourself. No matter how often they say you are a beautiful person, you do not feel it nor believe it.

A more effective way to improve your self-esteem is to recognise how you feel and think about yourself. Start by practising each day the following: whenever you recognise that you cultivate a negative thought about yourself, change it into something positive. The more you become aware of your negative thoughts or the conditioned mind taking over, the more you will improve your state of mind, your thought vibration or radiation.

It might sound very simplistic, but it works because your change your thought vibrational frequency from a low one to a high one. You commit, therefore, to mastering your mind instead of allowing your non-supportive voice to take over. You know what voice I refer to, the one that is forever complaining, blaming, judging, criticising and pretending to protect you.

Start today to master your mental activity by observing what you think about most of the time. If your thought vibration or radiation is non-supportive, change it into a more supportive way of thinking, transforming your whole being.
